Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of keithwong.my, including the insurance and financial planning content published by Keith Wong, and the Kira-Kira loan, refinancing, SME and LPPSA calculators (together, "the Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Two different things, on one site
It matters that you understand which part of the Site you're using:
- Keith Wong's advisory content is provided in his capacity as a Financial Adviser's Representative and Islamic Financial Adviser's Representative licensed under Bank Negara Malaysia, and a Licensed Financial Planner under the Securities Commission Malaysia. General content published here (articles, guides, the coverage-gap tool) is educational and does not constitute personalised advice until you've engaged directly and been assessed individually.
- Kira-Kira is an independent information and referral tool. It is not a bank, not a licensed moneylender, and does not extend credit, approve loans, or act as an agent of any bank or financial institution. Its calculators produce estimates only.
2. Estimates are estimates
Every calculator on this Site — debt consolidation, refinancing, SME financing, LPPSA eligibility, insurance coverage gap — produces an illustrative estimate based on the figures you enter and general assumptions stated on each page. These are not offers, quotes, or guarantees of approval, rate, or coverage from any bank, insurer, or institution. Actual terms are determined solely by the relevant licensed provider following their own assessment.
3. No liability for decisions made on estimates alone
We make reasonable efforts to keep calculations accurate and assumptions clearly stated, but we do not warrant that any estimate is complete, current, or suitable for your specific circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from decisions made solely on the basis of a calculator estimate, without independent verification or professional advice.
4. Third-party links and references
The Site references and links to third parties, including banks, LPPSA, AKPK, insurers, and government portals. We do not control these third parties' content, accuracy, or availability, and linking to them does not imply endorsement, partnership, or agency in either direction. Bank and insurer names referenced in Kira-Kira's content are used descriptively, to identify licensed providers in the market — not to claim affiliation.
5. No guarantee of outcome
Referral to a bank, insurer, or institution via WhatsApp does not guarantee approval, a specific rate, or coverage. Past performance of any investment-linked or unit-linked product referenced in advisory content is not indicative of future results.
6. Intellectual property
The design, calculators, articles, and other content on this Site are owned by Wong Kuan Kit unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, republish, or use this content commercially without permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to extract data at scale, interfere with its operation, or use the calculators to generate misleading estimates for onward publication as if they were quotes from a bank or insurer.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, without prejudice to your right to use the complaint and redress channels described in our Disclaimer.
